I've looked and looked... and looked again for a replacement - used or new, brand X or maker's original - and this creature seems to be like the Chimera. Everyone wants to sell me gaskets - Where's the part itself?! Please folks, help me; it's for a fixer-upper 2000 Jetta. The engine is a VR6 2.8l; the part I need is the actual dense policarbonate knot of intake runners. I can't see any damage but the mechanic says it's bad - maybe it won't hold a vacuum, IDK - and I'm not a VW expert. The part says "AAA". Thanks in advance for your attention and any help you can offer.
