    iv had my battery leak acid all over my battery tray and on my gear linkages iv now lost 5th gear im asuming that the acid has minced my link bushes. is it a big job to replace gear link bushes and are they pricey.

    hi there iv been trying to fit my starter motor to my vr6 2.8 mk3 golf and i cant get the main bolt through the top starter hole and through engine mount jst spins on its self. is there a certin way to jack the car or the engine so the bolt will go through.

    cheers for the replys got it fixed it was the way the boy who sold me the car had wired up the immobilser four cables had bounced they way free so it cut of my power to the fuel pump the joys of lowered cars lol

    been through the car now and found that the fuel pump isnt getting power and not sure weather or not to go ahead and wire a live feed straight to the fuel pump if i do would i see any future problems.

    hi there i was giving it sticks in my mk3 golf vr6 2.8 fwd and i was in 5th doing about 110 mph and all of a sudden it boged down and i lost drive, engine cut out and wont start now. it turns over ok but it seems like im not getting any fuel and the throttle body is buzzing non stop when igniton on. any thought guys. Tom
