    Yep - jacked it up and put the positive from the decent battery onto the terminal on the starter and earthier the other one. Then there was enough power for the alarm to unlock

    Oh - and it doesn't have locking pins on the doors (so I can't bend the door to pull it up)...

    Had my VR stood for about 6 months and the battery has gone dead flat. Problem is - none of the keys operate the locks (always used the alarm which won't work due to the flat battery!) I thought I'd be a me to remove the grill and get to the bonnet catch. Removed the grill fine but can't get to the @*%#ing catch. Any advice (other than breaking a window)?? Cheers Des

    My car was running fine, then due to being unused for a while the battery went flat. I jumped started it and run round in it for a day and it was fine. To make sure the battery had a decent charge in it, I removed it and gave it a good charge. When I put the battery back on it wouldn't start... It turns over fine but wont fire up. I checked the fuel pump relay and fuse and they're fine. An auto-electrician has looked at it and was convinced it was the transponder reader. He's replaced that and it's still not right.     Hi all, Maybe a daft question but will the clocks from a mk3.5 cab (2litre) fit a VR6? Also - do all the later mk3 cab clocks light up blue like the mk4? Cheers

    Probs a daft question, just want to check - will the standard rims off an OBD1 fit an OBD2 (i.e. 288mm discs on the front?) Cheers
