Hey guys im looking to go to the ring with a few of my mates, going to be 6 of us with 3 cars, was just wondering if anyone new of hotels that are cheap and good to stay at???

This is my Vr, i got the car in Feb this year just before i turned 18. its the first golf i have owned and not the last.
Progress, when i got the car in feb i took the G-box off and replaced the clutch chains and tensioners rails and guides, then the central locking pump broke and replaced that, after a few months i then decided to lower the car on coilovers, but didnt like the look with the grey wheels, they then went white didnt think they looked to bad, after going to GTi inters i then took up amd's offer of a miltek catback system and was fitted a few days later. since then i have got a set of Mercedes wheels that are being refurbishment and painted (unsure on what colour ) Any ideas????

Should the Vr be running on fully synthetic or semi and what W? cheers
as my engine when it starts is a bit noisy and the chains have been done just sounds like cams ??? cheers chirs

hey, i had my milltek cat back system fitted with my decat pipe, when the engine is on idle it sounds fine but when i accelerate i hear this weird ticking from the exhaust. hearing this i put my cat back on and it is fine doesnt make the noise. i have checked that everything is tight,
what could this noise be ?? cheers chris

i have just removed the carbon canister and have plugged the black hose, is this correct as i feel the car has less power and is drinking more fuel, can i join both of the pipes together ?

and i still cant find this elbow on ebay i want it aluminium but i can only find silicone

so best way to take it off is undo the solenoid and then take out all the pipes ??

i will defo get one then, also if i take out the charcoal filter does this have anny effect on performance as mine makes a wierd noise, how would i do this ?

oh nice mate does that metal elbow give of more noise from the induction ? make the bay look better as well

ok mate i had better start saving< do you also know where i can buy the alliminum intake pipe its the elbow that goes on to the inlet mainfold cheers

ok cool mate i will buy a BMC next month i think dont think i am going to want to charge it soon as im still 18 and insurance will become a pain, how much am i looking at if i wanted to charge it and keep my internals ? cheers

hey just looking in to gettin a few more brake, i have a miltek system on the way with a De-cat would a induction help and is there anything else i can do? are cams my next option prices and figures please

heyy i am thinking of lowering the vr and i see that the sump is very close to the floor, whats the best way of getting it further up?? cheers chris

yes i have looked into camping but the places i have emailed have not replied yet, we are going in august the 11th to the 16th, i will try that onroad. cheers
