  1. Hi guyIs: Appreciate all the replys. Also sorry for the delay in answering. I'm about 8 hours ahead of you guys in the states. I believe the comment about over tightening might be on the spot. Today when I went to work, I park in an underground garage. Before parking I covered the area under the motor with paper towels. When I drove off several hours later the towels were dry and spotless. I did use regular hose clamps for the two plastic nipples coming out of the firewall from the heater core, and I probably over tightened them. I will check for sure this weekend.   2. Having a problem with my overflow tank losing fluild. Just changed my heater core two weeks. Things were fine afterwards. But then a week ago my warning light came on and my overflow tank was low. I need to bring it up to the min level every two days. Whats happening? I have no outward signs like splashing or dryed up fluild around the hoses. Where is my radiator fluild going? Any help would be appreciated. I own a 1997 vr6 (obd 2) 2.9 syncro variant.
