Cheers for the quick reply guys, I believe its a obd2 with the car being a 1996 model (im new to the whole vr6 thing so not sure bear with me!) When you say use the obd2 parts what parts do you mean??

Well it seems like my lovely Vr6 highline has died so im looking into replacing the engine with a 2.9 corrado unit, Is this a straight swap or am I going to run into problems....what are the differences between the two engines and is it a case of dropping the old 2.8 out and straight swapping it with the 2.9 unit??? Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks Martin

Evening guys, Bought a vr6 highline a couple of weeks ago, completely standard apart from a milltek exhaust, the car has been on the drive while iv been working on it and its started everytime, drove it up and down the road etc but today when I came to start it after driving to the bodyshop it just wouldnt start......it trys to turn over, it has a spark and it has fuel going to it but its just not firing up. The car is a P-reg and has done 133k with a slight rattle on the chains, Had abit of mayo in the oil cap if that helps but i think thats down to the car not being run properly for awhil
