    quick update on the VR... took it back to the garage only to find they havent got the equipment to check the camber!!! they checked the tracking again and is still bang on! can anyone help me with a decent garage in the Milton Keynes area that dont employ "special" people...?? oh... any idea on how much it will cost to get the camber checked...?? many thanks

    would there be any other signs / noises it would be the engine mount??! was fine before i had the bearing changed.... Many thanks

    Hi, wondering if anyone can shed any light on this issue please?!!?? Just had the passenger side front wheel bearing changed with a new hub also and when i picked the car up it was driving like a bag of spanners! Took it back as thought the tracking was out and yes was miles out!! They fixed this and the car drove so much better but it is still drifting to the left when it should be in a straight line....!! has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?? have checked all tyre pressures (all ok) and all tyres are less than 3 months old..... thanks in advance!!

    hi, solved the problem..... Got the multimeter on the starter and found loose connection on it.....!!! Made sure it was in nice and tight and all is working now, crisis over!! Thanks again for all your help with the issue u have all been really useful! Keep up the good work, im off to go do some serious driving\!!

    nice one! No not been playing with the fuses so will get a meter on it tom and hopefully shed some light on the problem.... fingers crossed!! Thanks for all ur help been well worth joining the owners club! will get a response posted asap when find the issue!!

    wired direct to the battery.... Used a really good quality fitting kit (vibe) for the wiring - didnt think it would make a difference to the starter but thought id ask... is there any special type of ignition switch i need to get? found 1 on ebay for around a tenner...??! as the ignition is not even clicking do u think its the switch not the starter motor? Many thanks again for your help!!

    thanks for your help! will get the mutimeter on it in the morning see what happens... no not getting a click when turning the key.... i have just installed an amp for the front speakers but its only set on the minimum.... would this have killed it as it is all wired up correctly..... Many thanks

    Hi all, just become a vr6 golf owner mk3 and already having a major problem, can anyone help please? The VR6 wont turn over/ start at all.... all the lights come on, all the electrics work fine and the alarm is working also.... It will bump start no issues and after running it for 20mins or so then it will fire up no problem but after left for few mins same problem again.... please please please help as mssing out on valuble VR6 driving time....;( the car is on a p reg and is the highline model... Thanks in advance!
