Well my VR6 Golfs goes today. Sad to see it go even though I only got to take to the Nürburgring, but has been faultless. Loved the power(220) but loved the noise it made even more. 35mpg average going to and from work. So had the power and economy, how many "sports" car can say that. Anyways I'm sure to be back though maybe in a raddo. Laters all, oh it's off to Newcastle so if you see it say hi........... Smudger out!!!!!!!!!

I've got a Janspeed exhaust (2 rear boxes and a custom made decat with a straight pipe to the 1st rear box) off a GTi 8V and was wondering if it will fit on my VR as mine needs changing soon! It's a 2" bore on the rear boxes. I've already got a 6 branch manifold fitted and am running about 220 Bhp with the current system so would 2" be too small? Thanks

I've got 2 sets of early VR6 BBS alloys complete with centre caps. One set have been rattle canned Satin Black and have 4x Toyo T1Rs which have only done 1200miles. The wheels have curbing marks and would need refurbing to make them perfect, which is the same story for the other set which are silver and have good tread on tyres but all 4 are different makes. Any guidance toward a price would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just set off on the long old drive to the Ring for the weekend. Going with my mate, he's in a Fiat Coupe Turbo and 8 x Celicas are coming. Time to kick some Jap and Italian ass lol.

They also have all different kind of rooms from single, double, twin, 5 in a room, allsorts. You can even camp there. Hope this helps

I've got 17's 8j wide with 205/40/17 Tyres on and have no probs. Will depend on offset on the alloys aswell as tyre size.

Just got a Cobra Subframe for a cheap seat I bought but it won't fit as the mounting holes on the seat are further apart than the ones on the subframe. Does any one if it's just Cobra seats that fit or are there others like Corbeau/Sparco etc that'll fit? The mounting holes on the subframe are approx; 330mm lengthways, 290mm widthways. Any help/advice would be great.

Hi can anyone point me in the direction of a wiring diagram of the steering column on my mk3 '92 VR6. My horns are not working and I think it might be at the steering column end, so want to start there and work my way down. Don't know which coloured wire to start with so any help would be great. Cheers

Scrap that... They don't do p&p anymore but there are some on there now for just £50.39 plus free p&p. I'm gonna order some tomorrow morning unless someone else can Recommend something else that are that cheap tonight!

Hi I'm off to the Ring in a few weeks and am wondering which front pads to go for. Do I go EBC Redstuff for £55, Black Diamond Predator Pads for about £50, Ferodo DS pads for around £70 or maybe something else?!? Am on a tight budget so don't really want to spend more than £75. I've got Drilled and Grooved discs which are 280mm and am running about 220bhp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey peeps Just a quickie... I'm running 17's at the mo but want to put my original BBS's back on. Only got the car a couple if weeks ago and it came with both sets of alloys. My question is this... The BBS's are the early ones with the big centre caps that cover the wheel nuts. Two Tyres are bold and one was a 195/55/15 and the other 3 are 185/55/15 but when fueling up today I noticed on the inside of the filler cap it gave tyre pressures for 205/50/15's. So... Which Tyres should I have on them?!?! Thanks all
