hi i thought it may have been the oil level gauge..

hi all just drove the car into my garage. turned off ignition jacked up the car..and started to undo the sump plug.. just next to the sump plug is something electronic. i had to wait 5 minutes forthis electronic item to stop maaking noises, before i continued to undo the sump plug and drain the oil the car is a 2.8l 4 motion can anyone tell me what this electronic item is?? thx

hi any got vagcom that could come to my house, find out why my engine management light has come on..( coil pack i think) then reset the light for me obviously, it wouldnt be for free..but i dont really wanna drive it while its firing on 5 cyls only Regards

THIS SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THE SLOW fan problem?? isnt it a common fault , that the slow fan stops working? therefore causing overheating? do any of your fans work? there are 2

Easy job? i think my top rear suspension rubbers are worn,,, and from what i can see, it is just a case of undo..pull down replace...push up..re-tighten is this correct? forgot to say...its a mk4

well thanks for the encouragement and know-how i went to the local car shop...bought some vw stereo removal clips...put them in and pulled out the stereo easy so as no one here could tell me how to do it...maybe this post should go into the "how to " section?

a hammer would only be used to push it in...i would like to get the bits out so it may be easier to get it out as a whole unit !!

what is the quickest way to get it out..and the bult in 6 changer cd unit??? my 6 disc changer wont play discs anymore !!!!
