yea thats what my local garage saud but i rang vw up, and they took all my car details and told me the sump for my car is £80 so i assume they must have it but still, i dont want to be payin £80 lol. I will get it off and have ago at getting it welded up 1st i think, nothing to loose so il give it ago.

hi, i have recently put a hole in my sump, a new sump is £80 from the stealers, would you just go out and buy a new 1? or would you have ago at welding it up first? cheers
