i have a set of 4 alloys for my old Mk2 16v gti I'm after getting rid of with very good tyres on all of them size 195/50/15 unfortunately the rims have a bit of lacquer peel on them where the water has got behind them but there is no kerbing to them, they are a very nice set of wheels and if i could get them on my vr6 i would get them redone and keep them as i have not seen this type before.

i have 2 the p reg has 98k and is 190.3 bhp + 150lb ft and im not sure on the m reg

i have now sorted my starting problem but now need another starter if anyone has one up for grabs as i took the one of off my other vr6 that im trying to sale so if thereany chance that someone has one laying around then please let me know

i have now managed to strip the front end off and the starter motor to find that the braid between the solenoid and the starter was broke, now fixed that and its now clicking so it looks like a new starter nay be in order unless anyone has any other ideas

Ive been trying it looks really good and drew in a bit of a crowed at the bhp performance show in may when i put it on the rolling road and it pulled 190bhp still as far as i know standard

im not to sure the alarm key fob has meta system on it if that helps

i get a clicking from the relays and a buzzing from the primer unit and that's it.
as for wiggling the key and banging the column i have tried them but i got a bit stressed with it and punched the wheel to

yeah i have tried all of that just dont get how this has happened everything has been fine i even put it on a rolling road at the bhp perfomance show in may and have never had any problems with it starting what so ever

hello all
I'm new to the owners club but have own a vr6 now for about a year and a half nearly 2 years and now have 2 of them one of which i have a problem with.
unfortunately i parked my p reg vr6 up a week ago and ended up with a flat tyre due to a tyre problem, now having sorted that today i went to start the car to go out in it and it wouldn't start at all, i seem to have full power and the immobilizer seem to allow the ignition to all kick in but nothing from the starter any ideas welcome as I'm now at a blank without stripping the car down
please help

it was great to meet those who came to havoc, it turned out to be a pretty good show just gutted that i never put in for the show and shine but i will be there next year for definite as paying a tenner for a good cause is something that some of the other shows could learn from. oh and the kids loved it
