Brief history, moved to Canada, found a VW 95 Passat with a VR6 engine! Bonus ! Cost me four hundred pounds, another bonus! Ran for a while then a hose spilt leaking coolant everywhere. I have fixed the problem but now the warning light comes on for the heat and flashes intermitently. I feel that there is a problem with the thermostat or may be the water pump as the fans do not kick in when the engine is idling. If any one has any solutions or advice please let me know! thanks
