really difficult to get pictures, will try the next time it is on the ramp. It is below and just offset to one side underneath the water pump pulley. It doesnt show up on the engine schematic, there are two plugs just above it on the schematic, but i dont think it is eiither one of them, it appears to be 12mm but the only one vag can come up with is a 10mm, the next size up being 36mm i think. without getting the right fit, the oil simply seeps out. help!!

hello, i have an exhaust problem on my mark 2 vr6, it has a supersprint cat bypass pipe which has broken, it may be possible to weld it but i dont think it would last for long. The supersprint part is expensive, i am looking for options. there is a dutch company on ebay, hottuning, doing a replacement for about 55quid, but i'm not sure it has the bit for screwing in the lambda probe, there is also a milltek item at about 70quid. Anyone got experience of these? Or is there another option. thanks.

hello folks, need your help please. have an oil leak on the right side of the engine, underneath the water pump pulley. There is a plug on the side of the oil gallery that appears to have corroded and oil is seeping or spraying out. It is a nightmare to get to, and I am having a problem obtaining the correct replacement part. Any advice please on the correct part number, and also how to change it without taking engine out? It is a corrado VR6 engine, 94, 120k miles. Thanks.
