  1. Hairyarse, yip SRP is brilliant on scratches if worked into the scratches. Use about the same amount as a skittle and work hard into an area 12 inches by 12. Work in circles, up and down and side to side until the polish is well worked in. Then do the next panel, once it is finshed, rub of the panel before and keep working one panel a head. For the deeper scratches i work 3-4 layers in with medium pressure. If you look at my last two pictures you can see the difference. Just make sure you dont use too much SRP or it will be dusty and a nightmare to take off. Brilliant brilliant stuff.
  2. Cheers mate im really pleased with the results. Not a stupid question at all, as soul-2-soul said, Autoglym Super Resin Polish....when worked hard it is a seriously underestimated polish! cheers
  3. cheers mate, I totally agree they look brilliant when they are gleaming! I definitely rate the Megs #16 wax, it really is so easy to use and the finish is fantastic and deep!
  4. Well finally it has stopped raining for a couple of days so I thought it was time to finally open my new tin of Megs #16. Began the day will a nasty jet wash but best I can do. Then spent a good few hours working several hits of SRP into the paintwork to try and correct some of the worse scratches. I have to admit to being amazed at how much correction can be achieved by hand with SRP. I followed this up with my new Megs #16 which is just the easiest wax in the world to use and the finish is amazing. Nice deep and wet looking. I really cant complement it enough considering it costs £12
  5. Thanks guys it's much appreciated. Im really pleased with it at the minute. Next step is to lower it a bit so that the rims fit the arches a bit better.
  6. Cheers fella, im am relaxing with a beer now!
  7. Well after a few hours of polishing and some Megs #16....oh and the new Audi rims 8-)
  8. legend mate thanks for that! Need to go find a price now and get them sorted. Cheers!
  9. Can anyone give me the part number for the thin side sill inserts that run the length of the car? Mine are rusty and popping out. Cheers!
  10. Builds going well mate, puts me to shame considering all I am trying to do is find some suspension to drop it 40 mm! Keep the updates coming!
  11. Good to see another Edinburgh member Dave. Did you get the car?
  12. cr&p I must have missed that one mate. Have you got a link to it so I can go have a look? Cheers
  13. Just out of interest, stick a photo up of your Dragon green motor for all to see, we all love photos!
  14. Guys For the summer im going to by either Megs #16 or #26, anyone have any experience of either. I want a nice wet look finish with decent durability. It will be going on on top of SRP to try and shift some swirls. For the winter it'll be getting collinite 845. Thoughts please as I want to order in the next few days. Cheers Tim
  15. Looks great mate, nice and tidy. One suggestion is to get some autoglym bumper care and it will bring all the black trim around the bottom of the car back to black! Really like the wheels! Always good to see another 5 door dragon green owner!!!
