    Only coolant lost is less than a teaspoon after full day with aircon on, Heater core failed on me a year back so its been bypassed since, seems i might have to book it in for vagcom then

    Hey everyone Ok this sounds immensely dumb but when i bought my vr it didn't have a central locking pump so i finally bought one, now when i open the boot of my golf i found the wiring and pipe laying loose on the right hand side of the boot connected it up and finally central locking But now comes the time to put the pump in its place but i can't see as to where it would fit 8-) Where do your central locking pumps in a golf mk3 sit ? Also all my doors lock except the boot but there is suction there *-) Could it be the lock itself thats faulty ? Thanks in advance

    Hey guys On Friday when leaving work i started the car and heard a strange noise, it sounds like a crucnhy leaf stuck in the vent being grinded by the motor (if you know what i'm saying). But my ventilation system was off completely and the noise sounds like the engine revving through the air vents and sounds like a tractor inside yet outside everything sounds normal *-) On Saturday i started it and the car sounded perfect, no funny noises or anything so i never took it for a drive cause i assumed it was nothing.     7.2 is the official 0-60mp/h time but 0-100km/h is a fraction longer, i want to purchase a VAGCOM but how do i know which one is the right one to get for my car, I've seen plenty different code readers and am confused about which one to actually get for my car. Where is the best place to get one bearing in mind i stay in South Africa

    Hey guys my name is nate and i'm new to the forum I've owned my '95 OBDI vr for 7 months now and love every second of it :-d but after reading the specs i've seen the car should do a 0-100km/h time of 7.6 seconds which sounds fantastic yet i can only manage a best of 10 seconds *-) and top speed i can barely manage hitting 220km/h :-( Is there something wrong with the car or is it the driver !? Plz guys ur help is much appreciated
