i've got a few rust spots that need cutting out and i'm thinking of getting a total respray,anyone got any suggestions of decent body shops in beds herts and bucks area or i might travel a bit to get a good job done.....but not hundreds of miles away!!!

towbar was on the car when i bought it and i want to get rid,but how easy its it to remove the loom? where does it go to and what is it attatched to?

had a proper listen to my car today,and the tappin only really starts when the engine has warmed up,then it is more apparent.....does anyone think an oil change would cure this? this is where tappin 'seems' to be comin from/loudest http://photobucket.com/9below0

how true is it that obd2 engines have more bhp?

so its a choice of them or 8mm magnacors,dont wanna do any cutting or grindin,the 8mm should fit nicely then if the red ones from VW are the ones they supply

message to matt....it was the 'ribbed' belt that was changed,gonna get new plugs,the NGK ones,and red ht leads from VW....see if that makes any difference. sorry but i'm a bit clueless when it comes to engine maintanence. i;m gonna try get VAG-COM in the near future see if that will tell me anything,but i suppose you gotta know what your looking for!? thanks for the advice
