  1. Will I notice the additional weight (about 40 kg ish I think according to book) of a 5dr VR6 round the 'Ring in comparison to a 3dr? Does it make a big deifference, or only that last percent or two? And how much is the weight difference in reality? It just seems that the 5dr models are both easier to find and cheaper over here, but if the extra weight blunts performance I'll stay away. On the plus side I've heard the 5dr shell may be stiffer, and therefore better suited to ususpension upgrades. The car will be mainly used in wet/cold/damp weather at the 'Ring when it's too cold for the bike, a
  2. You have to own a car for 6months whilst resident abroad before importing it to avoid import tax, so it's really too much hassle, one of the reasons why I'm in the process of selling my Subaru Legact GT-B back in the UK. (280hp twin turbo 4wd estate with Bilstein suspension, anyone interested?)
  3. On the down side 2nd hand cars are stupidly expensive in Holland, going to be about 3k GBP for an OBD2 VR6 with around 100k miles on the clock....
  4. I kind of expect something like that, hoping the travelling at 60 mph will make a bit of a difference. I guess I'll just have to suck it and see!
  5. I'm looking for an OBD2 VR6 at the moment out here in Holland as a multi purpose car: Daily(ish) driver, but not used for getting to work Track car for in the damp/wet or cold at the Nurburgring Tow car to tow my bike to the Nurburgring (200miles each way) and other track days. Now I've the VR6 fuel consumption varies a lot depending on how it's driven, but anyone got a feelfor what I'll get towing 300 kg of motorbike and trailer at 60 mph on motorways? I figure the slower speed may alleviate issues slightly, but what do you reckon, low to mid twenties, high twenties, or low thirties? Thanks
