Hi guys, I've joined here on behalf of a colleague of mine who owns a rather nice green, 1997 MkIII Golf VR6. He needs some advice and I really hope you guys can help. I'll keep this concise(-ish). Basically, a few months ago his keys were stolen from his gym locker. The result was that his car had to be taken in to have the locks and alarm changed - as his insurance would no longer insure the car without this work being done. Fair enough.
