I took off my standard air filter the other night to fit a pipercross, it didnt fit but i left the standard air filter off. this morning when i was booting it in 1st gear, it suddenly lost power at about 4-5k revs, so i put it in 2nd and 3rd and the car hardly moved! a few mins later it was running fine, could this just have been the air flow sensor or could it be something bigger? also there is a rasping noise coming from the front of the car when i accelerate, it seems to have got louder since the incident above, what could this be? exhaust? thanks for any advice in advance
