So i just bought the car. Turns out this is the way it's setup. It's originally a 1997 VW GTI 2.0. Previous owner did a swap to a VR6. Problem is that it's a setup from a 1995 VR6 Jetta. So it's currently an OBD1 setup on a OBD2 car. So there is no way that I know of that I can get it to pass NYS Emission/ saftey inspection. So if I have to swap it back to obd2 what can I keep thats in it now? What do I have to get thats VR6 OBD2 and swap over. And if you guys can take it easy on me i've never swapped engine's and stuff before! Thanks in advance.
