just ordered my coilovers! got a set of fk highsports on there way, should arrive wednesday! good old ebay, cost me £370. ordered som chrome jom door pulls as well!

finally got her back, all's good now! cost me 80 quid tho! had new thermostat, o ring drive belt changed, and new coolant. expensive?

hopefully get her back tomorrow nite! i really cant wait! apparantly the o ring is prooving hard to find lol, phoned up vw and gfs and the part numbers didnt add up!

jon: nah the ventos dusty mouve, but im a sprayer by trade so i'll so sort that out! mike: actually the lights r standard! apparantly they were an optional extra from new! and yea, the wheels will b goin!!

she is! i went over her with a fine tooth comb wen i bought her and could only find one minor carpark dent on the nsf door and one tiny rust blister on the top of the same door! remarkable really, compared to my vento i had before!

yea thats a good idea! she was runnin at about 90 degrees before she started overheating. it that normal for the vr's? my vento hardly ever got over 70 lol!

So far she's completely standard. gonna use this thread as a sort of, "before and after" type of thing! first things first then! already got some FK coilies on the way! bonnet, lights and grill donated from my vento, black hella rear lights, crystal black long fogs and indicators, crystal black side repeaters, xenon bulb kit, VR front lip, and thats just to start! so, wat do u guys think?

basically, iv had her for a week. bought her last sunday from wales, and drove her the 165 miles home to devon! was a wicked drive home and had no problems wat so ever! she continued to be fine for the next three days, until wednesday mornin, she over heated on the way to work (i only live a mire ten mins down the road and there was no traffic). iv been assured that its not the head gasket cos theres no signs of oil in the water reserve, no water in the oil, oil leaks etc etc.......wat could be the problem?? a friend of mine is a mechanic, but says it doesnt seem 2 add up!
