haha still looks good, isn't it different hving someone spray their own car for once?

Since I had to fork out £148 on my mk2 I got annoyed with it and decided to get on with the mk3 instead!
Took the rear bumper, grill and morrette covers off and sprayed them, had a front bumper which was already off the car and sprayed that too!
Had two friends offer to help me and iain out
Once the bottom half had all been sanded and masked off we got to sprayin, for the record I did the boot lol lisa did the passenger door :supercool:
And with the tape and paper pulled off
Theres a few little bits that need touching up, top half will be sprayed purple once I find the paint! Need to put the black front bumper, grill and headlight covers on, bought these which just happen to be purple and black too! :clap: picked them up at vwfestival!
Once the top half is sprayed purple then it will be done yay!
But didntlike just leaving it that way so decided to put everything back on, heres a picture still half painted but with the front bumper on, grill, headlight covers n that fitted

lol Anyways, I need some suspension to lower it about 60mm, but its higher at the back so.. how much can you lower one by?? Anyone got some for sale?? £20-£40 second hand?
Its going two tone, matt black on the bottom half and matt purple on the top half

I said I was getting a mk3 van so here she is!
I need some lowering springs guys!!!!!
Bought her for £375 with a load of vr6 spares, it has vr6 skirts and arches, vr6 interior, full vr6 wiring loom, leccy window and mirrors and central locking, also vr6 bumpers lol im half way there then, just need the engine now

TWO DAY EVENT
This year VW Festival is a TWO day event spanning the 16th and 17th August 2008 with overnight onsite camping on the Saturday night. Also we have moved the main show back to where it belongs, in front of the house.
BENEFITS OF PREBOOKING YOUR TICKETS
- Childrens' Prebooked tickets (up to 16 years old) are FREE (normal on-gate price of nearly £8 per day)
- WEEKEND TICKETS (inc Camping) are only available by PREBOOKING

"Sunday Only" or "Full Weekend" tickets are now available from http://www.vwfestival.co.uk/tickets and via our flyers. Full Weekend tickets include onsite Camping. We can accept payments in the form of Debit Card, Credit Card, Paypal or Cheque.

This year it's a straight forward £10 per metre frontage (standard 10m depth per plot), and that cost includes the Saturday AND the Sunday trading.

AUTO JUMBLE
Auto Jumble plots are FREE as they were in 2005, 2006 and 2007. To reserve your plot visit the following link http://www.vwfestival.co.uk/autojumble and fill in the form. You then have to buy your entry tickets to get into the show. See link for details.
CLUB STANDS
Club stands are again FREE. To reserve your Club Stand on the main show field visit the following link http://www.vwfestival.co.uk/clubs Each member and passenger on the club stand is required to prebook their entry tickets (via the website or through your designated organiser) in order to get onto the stand. Clubs are limited to 15 cars. We will also be restricting the number of “Club Plots†so get in early to avoid dissappointment.
GRAFFITI DISPLAY
This year sees the return of the ever-popular live Graffiti Display. Please register here http://www.vwfestival.co.uk/graffiti to have your car graffiti'd by our professional artists for FREE at the show.

Tickets now available for VW Festival 2009
CHILDRENS PREBOOKED TICKETS ARE FREE
VW Festival is in its 5th year and we are averaging 6,000 visitors each year. This year the show is effectively a one and a half day show, with entertainment (Live Music, Disco and Bar) starting at 6pm on the Saturday night for the visitors who are camping onsite. Sunday is the full show day. To see what the show is all about visit the VW Festival website.
VW FESTIVAL TIMETABLE
Saturday 15th August 2009 (Only if camping and prebooked)
You can arrive anytime from 12.30pm, pick your camping plot and wander the grounds of Harewood House, or just sit, eat, drink and be merry in the campsite. PLEASE NOTE entertainment will not start until 6PM! and you MUST have a prebooked tickets to camp! Childrens Disco at the Marquee from 6pm - 8pm followed by a themed Disco and bands from 8pm - Midnight.
Sunday 16th August 2009
Trade Stands, Show'n'Shine, Graffiti Display, Beer Tent, Catering, Club Displays, Club Stands, and Live Music. You will be able to access your club stand prior to main gates opening on the Sunday morning . All times will soon be available on our website.
