hi there, now i'm having a real blonde moment so please forgive me if this is a really stupid question but... i'm fitting a set of d90's with H&R adapters, do you use the standard VW wheel bolts (to go into the porsche wheels obviously - not to attach the adapters) or do some different style porsche ones come with the kit?! cheers for any info!

hey, can anyone help me?... i need a new front bumper for my vr and currently have an all smooth one. if i were to buy a primed standard one i assume the top half is textured yes? can this simply be smoothed down and then painted or do i have to buy a specific later vr or highline one? Also, if my paint code sticker is missing from the boot is it stated anywhere else? cheers

hey, i've been looking around for kits too.. http://www.hids4u.co.uk/pages.php?pageid=1 i think 4300k is the brightest in light terms but will give a white light. the higher kelvin you go the more blue/purple there will be but with that you are actually loosing usable light. there is no need to spend mega bucks... you can get them on ebay for next to nothing but there are mixed reviews. so i was going to go for the slightly more expensive 55w kit from the place above.

thanks mate your a diamond! thing is the listings for mountneys boss's only goes up to 96 golf, so i'm guessing they dont do one for after 96. have to see if i can get a proper momo one. cheers again!

ok so the first pic shows the column with the centre spindle and then the part with the splines looks like it slides over the top. The next is the boss i have which is the same size as the centre of the column, so leads me to believe that the splined part of the column comes off to leave the smaller centre splines. this is so hard to explain!

hi, i have just gone to fit my new steering wheel with a mountney boss but the boss appears to be too small... On the steering column there is a shim of some sort (that has the splines on it) but this shim itself appears to be splined on to the column. If this came off it looks like the boss would fit ok. Does anyone know if this comes off or does it sound like the wrong boss? I have tried removing it but it is obviously well on there.. or it is actually part of the column and i'm wasting my time! will try and get a pic on here as its not the easiest thing to expain! thanks for any help!

hi there, as a new owner of a vr im trying to get some info on some teething problems that my new purchase has... no1 : on a few occasions it has started as normal but wont idle, it revs fine and there is no loss of power. i have checked codes and there where a whole host of codes ranging from ect sensor to tp and lamda, once cleared it will run fine until the same happens again.. any ideas or anyone expeienced this before? no2 : the breather is broken that is situated on the top left hand side of the engine -( crankcase breather i think, is cylindrical and had some sort of valve in it and ru
