Hey guys. Just bought a 03 v6 4motion golf. Decided to join you guys after a short spell in a TDI. I have noticed a knocking noise coming from the little black engine part situated in between the coolant tank and the washer fluid tank. Can anyone tell me what this part is and what the noise coming from it means. Also when idle the engine is making a slight wearing noise, Not sure what this is either. The performance from the engine is good and when idle feels very smooth. Would be grateful for any advice anyone could give me. Cheers Nick
