    johnno, what injectors are they? 380cc? not standard vr6 ones - i think they are same as Audi RS2, also called number 36. can you give me the part number? and how much do you want for them?

    yes i am...this is a budget build...if you can call a vrt budget!!! I thought about ARP bolts , but didn,t want to over spend until i was happy i could get this up and running...all this was built using various info from Vortex, this forum and a Corrado VR6 workshop manual. I have never built an engine before *(although i did do the VR conversion ) if it blows i know i can rebuild it and use all the best bits next time. But tbh we have 2 VRT,s in our club that have been running and driven for 2-3 years without any problems and all using stock ECU's and no fancy electronics or ARP bolts or anyt

    thanks , the parts are powdercoated in Black crinkle finish. It looks low key and OEM....but it is prone to chipping! Normal powder coating is much more robust, like the crossmember. The intercooler is from a Rallye....its one of the best for a Mk2 as its very big and wraps around the radiator...only problem is that one of the outlets points downwards, so i had a mate (Luke from Andy Robinson Racing) cut and reweld the outlet so that it points in the right direction....there are a lot of bits you have to modify or fabricate if you want a nice finish.     nope...replaced it with a lightweight pulley in order to avoid hammering in the chassis leg...the vr6 is quite tight in a mk2. As for the vibration damper ...thats debateable if it actually makes that much difference, i have never felt any difference or adverse affects....with a turbo it should not make any difference as the crank RPM will not increase in any way compared to a NA vr6..who knows i might be wrong...but half the fun is building these things and finding out!! I have not driven it yet so i don,t even know how it performs (or if!!)..maybe this weekend!.

    Just thought i would post a video of my VRT that i have been building in my spare time..some of you may have seen her at our Show and Shine event...non running and without a front end.
