How much do vw usually charge for that?are the pretty accurate??

If you mean the engine coolant temp sensor ive allready changed that(thought that would have fixed it but hasnt)

Hiya peeps my 94 L reg vr6 is having choke problems.The choke doesnt seem to cut in when cold so starting is sometimes a problem for me in the mornings.ant surgestions????? cheers adam

How does the u clip slide out from the sensor?

Hello peeps,before i break anything on my mk3 golf vr6 1994 i thought id better ask first on here. Ive just bought a new coolant (blue) sensor to fit,as ive been having starting/idle problems.How do they fit???any help muchly appreciated. cheers adam

Ah i see,so in theory if that sensor isnt working the choke wont kick in when starting from cold?which is the problem im having.apart from vw where would i get one from cheapish??

Hi peeps,i have a 1994 2.8 vr6 golf and have started having starting problems. This only happens when the engine is cold,as-soon as the engine warms up everything is ok. It seems as if the problem is getting worse.When i start from cold it seems like the choke isnt cutting in because it will just stall unless i leave my foot on the gas.after a few minutes its ok when the engine is warm.any help will be muchly appreciated. cheers adam
