That's the wierd thing, it's just driving normally doing no more than 30-50mph. It normally runs between 70-85 deg max. I changed the oil temp sender today and it's still going up to 100-110 deg. I guess the next thing is a coolant flush. After that i'm all out of ideas.

Sorry to be a bit slow on the uptake but what do you mean by a stat. My VR6 seems to have the same problem. The water temp stays normal but the oil goes up to 110deg (it used to run in the 70-80deg range. I've done a oil/filter change but its made no difference. any ideas?
