Good morning. Does anyone have any info on VR6 cam specs? For standard and aftermarket cams. I am after lift, opening and closing angles for the inlet and exhaust, or duration and lobe centres and an opening or closing angle for either. Cheers! Tom

Afternoon. I have a VR engine of spurious origin and need to find the engine code. I know that it should either be on a machined plate on the water pump end (it isn't) or stamped on the opposite corner, but can't find it there either. Has anyone got a picture of where it should live? Cheers.

Is the side to side motion cable secure? Should go from top to bottom; Bolt, Cable, Washer, selector lever with nut inside.

Out of interest, does anyone know what the heads off the cup cars are like? I might have picked one up that once was used on a car run by Saxon Motorsport. I can see the ports are a lot larger, but don't know what it'll behave like in real life.

Don't like the look of that. What's with the dodgy rear silencer peeking out of the bumper?

10years ncb, 3points, 10k limited milage on both cars, cars on driveway £320 for my corrado 16v fully comp, protected no claims, and £350 for the corrado vr6 fully comp, with my parents as named drivers (it was only going to be a runaround)

My corrado has a towbar fitted whcih doesn't interfer with the bumper. I'm pretty sure it would tow reasonable loads ok,but you must bear in mind the load on the towbar, the hieght of the hitch and make sure the braking system works on the caravan, otherwise you'll be sitting on the motorway underneath it in no time at all. I found the towbar is very useful for tieing the car down to recovery lorries and trailers
