today i called the rac out and the problem was a knackered battery so that was a big weight lifted as i thought it might have been the starter motor got one fitted at farmers autocare for 65quid rac were charging 20 quid more cheers

this morning my car wouldnt start turned the key the usual lights appear and go,then just clicking noises,waiting for somebody to take a look,that could be ages yet like days,anyone got a clue been told it sounds like battery or starter motor,cheers

hi ppl,just got my golf vr6 service and have noticed that my mileage says ..trip 225...etc when engine is running but as soon as i switch off engine it goes back to normal saying 116500 miles has anyone got a clue what this is and hows it happened i phoned the garage saying this he said he will have a look at it but i cant get there until another few days

hi all, i wonder if you can help me the person that was supposed to help me has let me down i am from edinburgh and dont know any garages that i could take it and probely rip me off as well i would love to take it to vw garage but i think it would cost me the world is there anyone thats from edinburgh here that could point me in the right direction thank you

in the last few days my car has been shuddering it does it when stationery and most noticeable when accelerating anybody got a clue its lost a lot of power feels like a 1.4 its a p reg cheers
