Hi, I have a problem with my car. The car takes a little while to start - cranks for a couple of seconds before firing up. The car will always start but i want it to fire straight away as it sounds rough when sat cranking it. The engine is a OBD1 taken from a 1994 mk3 golf - now in a 1990 mk2 golf. My battery is new and i have checked the started and earth cables are clean. I have read it could be the cam shaft position sensor or the crank shaft position sensor.
