Help! VW dealer cannot trace problem with intermittent ABS warning light staying on. Wheel detectors checked / replaced, electrical connectors cleaned and suposedly checked. Threatening to now replace ABS unit at £700?? Warning light can remain off for days then suddenly plays up. Noticed that when Logic 900 alarm times out when keys removed from ignition ABS alarm light has very dim glow. When it does and alarm resets sure enough I get the full on ABS alarm when engine is fired up and ABS monitor completed. Suggests an electrical interface problem? (which may not be cured by ABS replacement?
