Recently bought a VR6. 1993 Auto, 5 door. No mods. All seems good, brakes, suspension etc etc except there is a noise. Sounds like a quiet dishwasher, (honestly that's what it sounds like), coming from the top of the engine, opposite end to the chain I think. Love the car, pulls as I think it should, but any ideas what this could be? Clearly audible from inside the car when idling but cant hear it when actually driving. I live near Bath, anyone recommend a local specialist? Thanks, Martin.
