  4. had a play today took out speed sensor and gave it a clean it was no different then i unplugged it and the car would not start so to me this shows that it is working? also noticed car will hit a limiter at 5000rpm is this related? and where is the hall sensor?
  5. ok checked it again on scanner and all of the codes had gone except for the speed sensor one so i will try to get one but its too much for me to spend this week, bloody bills. anyone got a good one for cheap!
  6. i'll be doing that this weekend then ,cheers
  7. thats what i thought but after searching on here it seems that the engine speed sensor fault shows because the engine wasnt running is this right?
  8. hello i am new here ,and to the vr6, and it looks a good site. anyway to the problem ,i have a 1993 vr6 and it seems too slow. It accelerates ok and evenly but there seems to be no performance, no head snapping back type thing. I had the car on a scanner and it come back with 3 codes they are 00525 oxygen sensor-g39 no signal occurs intermittantly 00561 mixture adjustment adaptation limit (add) exceeded occurs intermittantly 00513 engine speed sensor-g28 no signal so my question is would any of these make my car run poorly and what do they mean? thanks
