  2. answer: no! Ran out of petrol 100 yards from my local station on saturday coz being the muppet i am i thought a warning light would come on when the tank got hammered...but obv not...funnily enough the car seems to be running a lot better since its been fully refuelled and had its weekly wash by the illegal immigrant polish blokes at me local car wash...HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER RAN OUT OF PETROL??! :$

  3. if you have an obd2 car then try a simota carbon fibre induction kit... they are american but they ahve a few dealers over here now (sanspeed in kent was my port of call) i couldnt have one fitted as my car is an obd1 vr6...but my bruv has a simota induction kit and exhaust bypass monitor on his m3 csl and it sounds much better than a bmc cda, although they are awesome...

  4. cant wait, trailer looks the nuts...guarenteed action film of the summer (after matt damon running around a lot going "i dont remember" in bourne ultimatum).. its just a shame that dreamworks caved and has the new transformers as hummers and the new camaro...should be a 911 etc from what i remember... CAN ANYONE LIST ALL THE ORIGINAL TRANSFORMERS AND WHAT CARS THEY WERE??! PLUS... IF A VR6 WAS A TRANSFROMER WHICH ONE WOULD IT BE....??!!

  5. i earned me sticker in a vr6 auto 2 yrs ago....auto is not good on the ring,,but my then boss went with a 996 gt3 rs, was a passenger and that was pretty good value...current boss has a 997 turbo with a sticker... but has he been to da ring...has he f**K ... he has done a lap of the nordeschlife about as much as steve mcclaren has woken up and realised he isnt a good mangaer... he isnt even an average one... he is a cock... the smug red faced bastard!

  6. age: 17: 93' fiesta (0.9 ltr) typical ford...utter shite!

    19: 99' vw polo 1.4 cl (60 mighty horses)...

    21: 65' mk1 jag e type... put a lts slip def

and pas on this beauty....wish i had

never sold it...might sell the vr6 in a

    year and get another one...

23: 94' tornado red VR6 3 door... worth if for the noise alone and the l0ok on barry boys faces when u tell them its a 2.8!!

  7. Im am keeping the golf! but thanks for everyones input...,as for the auto thing I agree, but sometimes if i dont commute on my aprilia a manual car in central London rush hour is like watching Chelsea play football.... utter negative crap but u get the result in the end. ... i use to have a vr6 auto, and whilst manual is the way to go the auto was pretty damm smooth!! I have also done a bit more research and corrado build quality and part prices do seem a bit of an issue!!

  8. Hello ppl, I need your help and advice please, I currently have a 94' 3door tornado red golf vr6 , fsh, only done 47,000 miles. Only things changed are a full magnex system, new alpine head unit, and a highline armrest. Love the car, big smile every time i drive it..but there is a 94 Corrado VR6 auto for sale with 100,000 miles for £2k which apparently has fsh and is a good car......What should I do? Part ex-change and buy the corrado or keep the Golf??

All opinions much appreciated.....and COME ON UTD for 2moro! :-d

  9. Dont forget people that the two best boxers on the planet will be squaring off at around 3:30 am this Sunday morning our time (LIVE SKY SPORTS 1) for what promises to be the best fight since haglan and sugar ray were at their peak decades ago, and unlke ricky fatton these are proper athletes at the top of their game... my spread is covered across the rounds but my main bet is on Mayweather to floor de la hoya in the 11th. What does everyone else think??

  10. As its Friday afternoon and Im killing time in the office before heading down to da pub by the Thames and getting ruined,.. I read today that Jessica Alba has been voted sexiest Woman in the world by FHM readers, personally i think Alessandra Ambrosio should have been numero uno, but WHO WOULD GET YOUR VOTE??!

  11. New website is class, its a tribute to all the people that work behind the scenes of this excellent owners club who rarely get the praise they deserve. May i suggest that you try and get this site featured in the back of performance VW mag, where they hae a list of all the best vw sites, vr6oc.com is certainly worthy of a place, its f**"ing excellent!

  12. As good as the R32 is' date=' I doubt it could keep up with a BMW E46 M3, which has 100BHP more under the bonnet.

A fully loaded R32 with DSG costs £27k brand new. For that money, you can get a mint 4 year old M3 with less than 50k on the clock. Maybe even one with the SMG paddleshift 'box, which is not as good as the VW DSG, but not far off.

So which one would you go for?

    [/quote']

Never in a million years would the r32 keep up with an M3, ur right, for the money I wouldnt even consider an r32 at 27 grand, a 993 911 (the best shape and chassis porsche ever did), the e46 m3 (would try and scrape an extra 7 grand and go fot the e46 m3 CSL though!) or an e39 M5 (for 20 grand and spend the remaining 7 on a mint vr6) And whilst fast VW's are awesome we all know that it requires a bit of money to make them good track cars, the main problem with the r32 is the weight of the engine and lack of overall chassis balance, (just my expereince as a passenger on a track) still awesome cars though.

  13. An R32 with 500BHP? I would like to see the ECU printout of where the power is going on that one, some serious Bosch management control would ne needed to allow all that power to flow properly to a 4wd car! But if its actually possible then Id go an R32 over the S3 and rename it an R500 and style it like those recent vw golf gti R concepts that got shown at SEEMA. But keep us updated, sonds like the mother of all r32's!
