  1. i've posted this in the general chat section, but i've been recommended to post here for a better response. so i finally got my vr6, in an auto.. i know its not the same as a manual but this offer was too good to pass up! anyway i've read the auto transmissions usualy need rebuilt around the 130,000km mark. mine has done about that much, and it seems to be going fine. (apparently the first 110,000k were country kms, maybe less work for transmission) i was wondering what exactly i should look out for, in terms of problems with the transmission. what are the symptoms of needing a rebuild? i
  2. I finally got my car... Its a red '97 auto in immaculate condition. Got a great price and in Melbourne too. I'm very happy with it. I have got a couple of quick questions... - The gear selector does not light up when the lights are on. The car has had a road worthy done and full service, so I'm not sure if they've missed this, or its not part of the road worthy, or doesn't light up at all. The plastic cover clips out and you can see a little green thing (I think it may be an LED) that sits under the gear indicator (D,R,N etc)... I will probably take it to the dealer to get a new one put in if
