Hi guys, thought I'd say hello - been on the Vortex for years but thought I'd get a more UK biased forum membership too %-6 My Passat VR6 ('93 but with grill - one of the first) has never really run well in the 3 years I've had it and after various garages trying to fix it and many attempts myself, I've finally found the problem! The 42pin connector has got coolant in it at some point and corroded many of the connectors resulting in an unhappy ecu - I bet I've been in safe mode since I got it! Soooo - Ive got stuck in, removed the upper intake manifold, removed the engine side of the harness
