Hello, I'm doing some more research for my Vento VR6 article and I have a couple of points I need to clear up to finish off the piece. Do VR6 Ventos have discs all round, or drums at the rear? Also are the discs vented or solid as standard? Plus, what type of suspension setup does it have? I'd assume it had single wishbones at the front with macpherson struts, and a beam axel at the rear with ARBs? Is that correct? Cheers, Ben

Hello, Anyone know what the common problems for the VR6 engine are? I hear that earlier model timing chains have been known to fail. How often/how many miles should they be changed? Also, any other recurring problems? Head gaskets etc? Cheers, Ben

Morning All, I'm going to be doing a feature article on VW's Vento VR6 for PPC Magazine, and need a bit of help with pictures and info. What we're after for the feature is a buying guide for the car, with insight on what to look out for, the cars optional extras, good bits, bad bits etc. Generally all things to look out for when buying a Vento. If anyone can help with the feature by providing information on the cars then that would be greatly appreciated. We are also on the look out for a standardish, tidy Vento VR6 to use for photographs in the piece. If anyone is willing to help out for this
