    Cheers fellas, I am probably nit picking but I dont remember it being like it when I had it for the first few months. Maybe it was just the excitement of owning it. I have also noticed a slight hesitation on the throttle and it doesnt feel as torquey at low revs as it did a few months back.

    Ive suspected something is up with my corrado for a little while and I have changed numerous parts to cure the niggle. The problem is that while the idle is steady its not silky smooth as it was a few months back, ive also noticed a slight pop when reved to just over 2000 rpm from the exhaust. I dont recall this before. I have had the diagnostics checked with no faults, ive had the coil pack, Ht leads, cam sensor, engine speed sensor, spark plugs, head gasket and water pump changed in the several months leading up to this. Has anyone had a similar problem? Cheers.

    Thickness of cables doesn't necessarily give an increase/decrease in sound quality if thats what you're after. Look at the quality of the cable before you buy. I got some QED cable for my home system which was the same size as the cable replacing and the difference was amazing. It was £5 a meter though.

    Hello fellas/laydees, I will shortly be buying a Sebring back box off a mate for my corrado (after I get my head sorted ), just wondering if you guys have had any experience of Sebring? Also would you recommend getting the rest of the system, cat-back at the same time to fit? Cheers dudes.

    Hey guys, thanks for the reply's. Sorry I couldn't get back to you earlier. The car is a 93 (K) rado with 101K on the clock. I had the head gasket replaced about 2K ago from VW with the water pump changed also. It's being stripped down soon at VW. To be honest if it was my money the work would be done somewhere else, but as it's a warranty job it's less hassle for me as the dealership is only over the road. Not had much luck with the car in the 7 months of ownership. Still love it though.

    Hey peeps, You may have seen my previous threads regarding my vr and how its had a missfire, well after initially thinking it was HT leads or coilpack then hall sender and engine speed controller faults came up on the diagnostics. My car is poorly, got it back from vw the other day with the instruction that it needs a new head, which is £2k from vw!!!! Apparently only 3 cylinders are running to correct compression. It's going in for the head to be stripped down at the end of the month. Hopefully the warranty I got from when I bought the car will cover. Just wondered if anyone else has had

    Cheers guys for the replies, I am a little dubious about vw but there ain't anywhere else to go around my area, there ain't any vw specialists around that I know of. I wasn't there to see the diagnostics being checked, but the same codes came up as before. It's going in tomorrow, to get the HT leads and coilpack checked. What HT leads would you recommend?

    Hello guys, Recently picked up a missfire which I thought was the Hall sender, I took the car to VW for diagnostics check - 2 codes: Hall sender and engine speed controller, later found out that my car doesn't have a hall sender according to matey at vw. The car is very lumpy at all engine speeds, sounds like its running on 5 and sometimes 4 cylinders. But when I take it for a long journey it clears up for a few days, then misteriously comes back. Matey at vw reckoned it could be the ht side of things, but I'm dubious as I don't want to spend money on the HT leads and find out its the coilpac

    We did delete the codes, but it is still as lumpy as me mum's custard. It is seriously down on power I reckon my old mk2 driver could keep up. Thing is if I take it for a long journey say on the motorway for 30 odd miles it clears up and runs like a dream for a few days and then it comes back.

    Hello everyone, this is my first thread as a member. After 5 months of ownership of my dream car an Indian red VR corrado. The past month has soured the ownership a little as the rado has picked up a misfire. I found out yesterday that I have a fault code when put on the diagnostics, hall sender fault and engine speed controller fault. Apparently the hall sender has an effect on the engine speed controller thus the fault appeared. Is this true? Is the hall sender a part which is only worth getting from VW? What is involved in fitment? Just checking just incase i'm not covered by my warranty
