Dried coolant splatter on top of coolant cap but level has not gone down.

Hi

Could this hot weather cause my coolant to splatter through the overflow hole in the cap? There's lots of dried splatter on top. Clearly showing up as white splatter on the cap. My coolant level has not dropped. Recently had a new thermostat so that should not be a problem and my water temp stays normal. What could cause this splattering through the overflow hole?

Probably the coolant overflowing......as its come out the overflow hole.
