i just got my vera at the weekend loving it to bits. first thing i want to do is my i.c.e but does anyone know if you canchange the speakers on the dash thanks. (m)

They're easy to replace and you get plenty of room to play with too.

Best thing you can do with em is bin em and buy a set of 17cm components mount the woofer in the door in place of the standard tat and mount the tweeter where the dash speaker was. Gives you great sound and all hidden from sight if you do it right.

for the best off axis performance and sound the tweeter in a component set-up should be no more than 6-8 inches away from the mid woofer cone. ideally speaking of course!

Although i do not disagree with the ideal sound positioning of a tweeter in relation to the woofer :$ :$ , i would rather lose a little in sound quality than have some chav spot my tweeters and decide to take a closer look. (6)

i try not to park my car in chav infested areas! and theres nothing to say you cant hide them lower down fella!

Cant confess to parking in known chav infested areas myself :@ :@ but hiding the tweeters too low down means great sound for ya ankles not that great for ya ears

I have Mids and tweets up front.

My Mids are snugly in the original door pods and are behind the original grills and my tweets have been drilled into the top of the dash grills and look and sound just spangly there
