Jasevr 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 Any ICE gurus out there?Basically ive plugged the VW loom into the Pioneer block, and switched the Red and Yellow wires about but the unit doesnt power, any ideas on that?The headunit before worked fine! blackmagic 0 Posted March 12, 2006 Report Share Posted March 12, 2006 Could be a couple of things do you have a multimeter if so check you power connections should have 12volts supply to the red wire on your pioneer loom when ignition on and 12volts supply to your yellow wire when ignition off and keys removed . Does your interior light work if not most likely a fuse. Some vw looms only had one power supply 12v permenant and therefore needed both yellow and red wires joined together on the stereo loom and connected to this one supply .
