scruffy 0
My drivers window just stopped working last summer however for some reason it went down about an inch when starting the engine! I do notice now that when I put the ignition key accross into the start position I can hear a clicking noise from inside the door as though the window was on it's way up, I can also hear the passenger one as well, all other windows work no problem, would this indicate anything obvious? there is no clicking sound when the switch is pressed like there is on other front window? thanks for now JBD !sad

antera309 3
Check the wires inside the rubber sleeves that go between the body and the doors. These insulation on these wires tends to crack with all the opening & closing of the doors. If two wires have lost their insulation and are touching, it could easily cause the problem that you describe.
