Might be a swear word to some but my Halfords has a Ripspeed X dept which offers a dipping service..Can pretty much dip almost anything in chrome,carbon,wood effect and various paint effects with prices varying depentant on size. Having seen some of this in the flesh its a good finish. Turn around is about 7-10 days as the bits go to another company by courier. Only problem is that only four stores currently offer this service with more stores planned if your interested let me know where you are and i get you some more info prices etc and your nearest store.
