The etching is done using an acid, basically, the number plate is burned into the glass. And they are designed not to come off. The only hope you have is that it hasn't been done properly. Get yourself a 1-inch stanley blade and try to rub it off. Alternatively, a powder called Jewellers rouge takes scratches off glass so it might take the etching off. But remember, it wasn't designed to come off, so be careful. Link to post Share on other sites
