Hello everyone I’m new here so sorry if this topic has already been talked about but I have a 24v vr6 (BDF) that Im currently doing a timing chain job on. Long story short I lined up all my timing marks and locked my cams, installed my tensioners and when it came time to turn the engine over my timing marks don’t line up as they should. The crank pulley tdc mark doesn’t line up with mark on the block when I have my cams locked with the cam plate. Confused as to why this is happening. Cam adjusters not turned the right way? My own idiotic mistake? Would like to hear some second thoughts.
