A couple of years ago, the Japanese company Rowen presented a unique custom sports exhaust system for the current Subaru WRX STI. The set of 4 blue-burnt exhaust tips along with Rowen letterings was an absolutely spectacular. At this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon exactly this sport exhaust system once again has found its place in a presentation car, but this time it was only “one” part of the completely revised vehicle. At the front, the STI Rowen gets a completely newly developed grille without Subaru emblem, which features two horizontal bars and new adjusted hood scoop. There’s also completely bumper, new wider front fenders, new side skirts and LED daytime running lights. The rear has been completely revised and gets new bumper and diffuser as well as two additional lip spoilers. The modifications are rounded off with the above-mentioned sports exhaust system that features a striking Heat Blue titanium finish, while each of the four tips has its own muffler.
