The information comes from a dealership employee, who on the 2018 Mustang’s order guide found that the V-6 engine order code was marked as “invalid.” Killing the 3.7-liter V-6 could mean that the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder will be the standard unit, while the 5.0-liter V-8 will be offered as an option.
