The pinnacle of the GT-R range features a fresh face with a new carbon fiber bumper and an enlarged dark chrome V-motion grille to collect more air to help cool the car’s high-output engine compared to the standard GT-R. The new GT-R NISMO has been carefully shaped to improve airflow around the vehicle, thus generating a high level of downforce, which helps achieve “exceptional” high-speed stability. Power is provided by the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine that generates 600 HP at 6,800rpm and 652Nm of torque from 3,600rpm to 5,600rpm. That, according to Nissan is 30 HP more than any other car in the range. The engine is hand-built by specially trained technicians and features with a pair of high-flow, large diameter turbochargers used in GT3 competition. The power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed dual-clutch paddleshift gearbox. Inside, the new model features redesigned dashboard, steering wheel and center armrest covered with high-quality Alcantara leather. There is also a larger 8″ touchscreen display, leather-wrapped Recaro carbon fiber bucket seats as well as the new Display Command Control situated on the carbon fiber center console.
