VR6OC News Bot 30
Volvo has completed its 90 Series line-up with the eagerly awaited V90 Cross Country, the rugged all-road, all-weather vehicle. The new V90 Cross Country was developed in Sweden, which has some of the harshest winters on the planet and over 77 per cent of the country covered in forest and lakes. This terrain is the natural place for finding out just how durable, these all-terrain-capable cars can be. With a design that clearly stands out from the crowd, the V90 Cross Country’s body is mostly identical to the V90, but it features a different lower fascia in front with a silver-outlined intake in the center. The Cross Country also receives additional ride height (60-millimeter (2.4-inch)), the traditional gray plastic flares and body cladding, slightly altered front bumper finished in gray plastic, while the rear bumper integrates the parallelogram-shaped exhausts at each corner. It shares the same sumptuous interior as its lower-riding siblings, and will probably share the same engines as well. For now, Volvo only shows what the Cross Country looks like, while the significant details about the car’s specification and pricing still remains secret. Production of the car will start this autumn at Volvo’s Torslanda Plant in Sweden, so expect to see full specifications very soon. Video View the full article
