VR6OC News Bot 30
A mysterious Alfa Romeo Giulia model equipped with a large rear wing was recently photographed at the Nurburgring. The model on the attached photos features a large rear wing, along with a racing trim similar to that of M4 GTS. According to some rumors, the test mule caught at the Nurburgring most likely is the future, more powerful GTA variant intended specifically for racing. Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA is expected to feature a more powerful engine (around 540 hp) than the current Giulia Quadrifoglio, as well as to benefit from the weight saving thanks to the even greater use of carbon fiber. As a reminder the standard Giulia Quadrifoglio under the hood has a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with 510 hp and 600Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, and sprint to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in in just 3.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 190 mph (307 km/h). photo courtesy of AutoGespot View the full article
